We built this 500-square-foot studio as a space that would enable creative work to happen at its best. Every session, whether it is a podcast recording or a live acoustic set, needs a room that allows you to create uninhibitedly, without worry or rigidity.
The studio is acoustically treated throughout, which keeps recordings clean and free of unwanted reflections. It is also well isolated from outside noise, so street and building sounds stay out of the take. It performs equally well for a single voice or a full band, so podcasts, interviews, and live music recording all sit comfortably in the same room.
We kept the space intentionally bare. No fixed sets, no built-in backdrop. A studio that only looks like one thing eventually only gets used for one thing. Ours is built to be reset, rebuilt, and reimagined for whatever the story needs.

The Gear
We shoot on Sony mirrorless cameras, with a second body available for multi-camera days. Audio runs through a mix of multiple dynamic and wireless lavalier mics, enough for a full room conversation or a single voice recording. Lighting is built around a modifiable kit that scales up or down depending on the shoot, and we keep a rotation of backdrops on hand for whatever the story needs. If a project calls for something specific, we can talk it through directly.
